the wonder
program... Without Microsoft's Front Page, Real Estate Clipart would not exist. I've found it the easiest web editing program to learn and use if you are going to build and maintain your own website. NOTE: Those who are pure "html" designers would disagree with me. But the way I see it, why cut down a tree with a hand saw when you can use a Chain Saw! Sure, I may not get to know the tree as well as if I spent lots of time with it, up close and personal. But I'll get the job done a HECK OF A LOT FASTER with the chain saw! NO, I AM NOT ON BILL GATE'S PAYROLL (to bad...) and I DON'T get anything for recommending Front Page. I just love the program and think it will help you get your site on the net if you are willing to put in the time and effort it will take to learn the program. It's not "that" easy...but it's as easy as learning Word, or Microsoft Publisher or any other of the Microsoft Office Programs I think. "Self-reliance: The name we
give to the egotism of the man who succeeds" If a link from a search engine or someone else's site brought you here first, please visit and read the Welcome page for guidelines to using this site and the Free Real Estate Graphics. *NOTE: The links on this page are all programmed to open in a separate copy of your Browser, either Netscape or Explorer. That way you can check out their site while this site is still open. So you don't over tax your Ram Memory though, you might want to bookmark and close the window of the last link you visited before visiting another or before you know it you'll have a dozen copies of your browser open. REMEMBER, WEB DESIGN IS A NEVER ENDING LEARNING EXPERIENCE. That is as it should be. It's never the goal that give the most self satisfaction, but the Journey itself. TIP - read about all the links before you click on one to better choose what you are needing. Each link has a description of what the site has to offer.
I do all my web designing using Front Page 2000. There have been upgrades since then, but I've not yet found the need to upgrade, so an 2000 would work just fine for you if you are on a budget. You can probably find this version on Ebay for less then the cost of the new version. Of course, if money isn't an object, go ahead and purchase the new version. Remember, if you do not have Front Page already, you'll need the full version. An upgrade version won't work.
Microsoft Front Page comes with a Technical
Users Manual, and that's just what it is...Technical. I've found
it's much easier to understand some of the independent books that are
written in a more user friendly fashion. Do yourself a favor and
purchase a third party "how to" book on the version of Front
Page that you get. WEBSITES FOR MICROSOFT FRONT PAGE HELP The most important
help you will find will be from The internet, at first glance, appears to be a solitary pursuit. It's only you, sitting behind a screen with a keyboard. However, in truth, we are more surrounded by people on the net then when we are at work in the "real world". Sitting with us, at any one time, are millions of people, throughout the world! We are all right here, tied together by a gazillion miles of cables, and only a mouse click and a few keystrokes away from each other. We are a community. Many of the internet neighbors have been exactly where we are, and, just like real neighbors, most are willing to help when they can. Frontpage Help Site Links - This site has a whole page of links to sites that offer Frontpage help. Front Page Newsgroup - Post a question to the group in the form of an email, and other users of Microsoft Front Page will try to help. Many of those offering help are trained Front Page MVP's. I've used this method for finding answers to problems, and have been extremely pleased with the help they've offered! This is truly user helping user. *If you've not used your news program, you
should become familiar with it. It is one of your best sources for
online help from piers for any subject you might be looking for help
on. There are over 50,000 newsgroups, covering just about every
subject imaginable. You more then likly have a news program, as most email
programs also come with news group programs.
